What a truly terrible film... its on for way too long and the story line is almost a complete rip off of the original Superman film.

:icon_sad:

i enjoyed it, far better than pirates of the caribbean in my opinion.

I thought Superman was very poor. :icon_sad:

There is a twist in the story which is so obvious even somebody as simple as Duzzer could work it out! :icon_bigg

i hope ur not on about the kid, it's hardly a twist is it? the kids 5 and he left 5 years ago, she loves superman so would she really get cheggers by another bloke a day after superman dissapearing. i think not. i think the film works well at what it does, it's a continuation of the franchise but a rebirth and hence re-introduces all of the characters.....very well in my opinion. the next one will be fantastic i'm sure.

Went on for 30mins too long, was an ok film... I went in expecting soooooo much more. I suppose i'm not 10 years old anymore so it'll never match up to how I felt about the other films.

NO NO NO NO NO!!! SHUT UP! Superman is ace and does exactly what it says on the tin. It is a comic book and is supposed to be childish, unrealistic and far fetched. I loved it and am going again tonight to watch it. You are all stupid!

it was utter tripe.... sorry singth

Well you deserve to have wasted a fiver on it then. I hope you are a smoker and you spent your last fiver on Superman and came out wishing you had brought some fags coz you had none left and you suffered all night coz you couldn't smoke and you went to bed miserable and got up the next day only to find the cash machine wasn't working so you couldn't get any money to get some fags so it ruined your weekend. Rant over. Sulking.

SPOILER AHEAD DON"T READ

what I want to know is.... why does he lose his powers on the new "land" when he's confronting Lex. But then he is able to go back when he's feeling a bit better and lift the whole bloody island out of the water, without losing his powers???????

That's the conclusion I came to... I like a bit of realism in my sci-fi's ;)

It.Is.A.Comic.Book.

It wasn't bad, it wasn't brilliant.

It was pretty amazing though when Lois Lane was on the plane and she was thrown all over the place like a rag doll but came out totally unscathed :icon_roll

The last 20 minutes or so was utter American tosh as well. Why didn't they do a British version to the ending and just have him lying on a strecher in an NHS corridor, then he recovers and jumps in his Ford Mondeo riding into the sunset.
