Saw it sat night so finally I can read this thread and reply!

i enjoyed it, far better than pirates of the caribbean in my opinion.

i hope ur not on about the kid, it's hardly a twist is it? the kids 5 and he left 5 years ago, she loves superman so would she really get cheggers by another bloke a day after superman dissapearing. i think not. i think the film works well at what it does, it's a continuation of the franchise but a rebirth and hence re-introduces all of the characters.....very well in my opinion. the next one will be fantastic i'm sure.

but he has to put up with the pain like only superman can. he has to to save humanity, and he does so by almost dying himself.

i'm with singth on this one. comic book movies are able to bend logic. i enjoyed it, end of.

only one thing that didn't cut it for me - Kate Bosworth, she is not good enough to play lois lane. certainly not a touch on the previous actress's.

Spot on again, kate bosworth aint no Louis lane, thought that was the only bit of bad casting. the guy playing superman was excellent, the casting of Kevin Spacey as Lex Luther is epic in IMo and I hope he keep that role for a number of years/movies.
