Sven on the moan in 1-8-11

Can't find it anywhere. Several websites appear to not know the difference between transfer listed and released.

I did edit my post to reflect the error that was made. The TV said at 6 that he had been released, clearly they too can't tell the difference

so. maybe one or two of Long, Keane, Miller, Maynard, The Korean Rooney and/or Beckham being targeted. Definitely not Heskey (disappointing). Howard and Waghorn retained, i would imagine, more because of current numbers than anything to do with how Sven rates them as 20 goal a season strikers.
We need a number 1 striker sorted before the start of the season i fear or we'll dominatte games without finishing teams of like last year when gallagher, vassell, howard etc were outperformed by Graham, Holt, Becchio, Long. Hopefully we'll only have to score 1 to 2 goals to win a game though with our new back 5! Nugent could come up trumps for us if fit based on Saturday's performance but i'd prefer to see him part of a front 3 with Gallagher and Maynard....

I tend to agree with this. I'm not sure I'd even want him back now let alone in a year's time when, fingers crossed, we could be in the Premier League. I think we can do far better.
