I agree with resting them all for a considerable time but it should be stated that until his injury Drinkwater was the best player we had on the field and Huth does moreorless what he has always done. Head the ball clear, Huth it into the stands, his problem is that he doesn't have the help around him to cover the weaknesses that he has always had - lack of speed, lack of ability to pass a ball...

Vardy has done bugger all in every game and doesn't look like scoring in a month of sundays.

Drop the MF.
Yes i understand he hasn't been scoring but he has been trying to and he is one of a few players which play well[/QUOTE]

He doesn't play well. He no longer times his runs correctly, he can't contorl the ball and he can't shoot. I guess other than that he's doing well though.

When he starts scoring I'll love him again but until then drop him!

Bring in Brendan Rodgers

So whose new account are you?

obviously someone who doesn't want their real views to be known.

No-one joins a forum when the team is on a downward trend.

You must be right it's everyone's fault except Mahrez and Vardy. They are supposedly top 15 players in Europe yet it's everyone else's fault. I don't think you mentioned that the pitch hasn't been so well patterned as last year, that groundsman needs to take some blame too.

They are at fault also but are not the main problem, but look at how often we are pressing other teams, we just not doing that this season, you cannot blame vardy for lack of service.

Last season we had kante and shinji feeding mahrez and vardy.

I blame most of the first team and that includes supposedly our two best players from last season. Vardy hasn't had as good service as last year but he also hasn't been good at closing players down, he hasn't been good at running the channels, even worse his control has been terrible and he has fluffed nearly all the chances he's had - not as many chances as last year but more than enough to have scored 10 to 15 goals if he was as good as last year. If he had taken some of those chances early in the games that he had (earlier in the season) the whole game would have been changed. He has been terrible.

Mahrez looked like one of the best players in the world last year, admittedly teams have thrown more players at him this year but instead of passing the ball quickly and using the advantages that gave us he has simply lost the ball. Worse than that he has returned the the lazy Mahrez who doesn't make enough of an effort to close players down - which you admit above - and his efforts to defend are just criminal. He's a great player but he's looked divisions below young Demarai Gray playing in the same team with the same support this year.

I have to agree with monkey face.

Now someone will say that sums me up as a person. I wonder who?

The very worst two culprits for pressing other teams have been Mahrez and Vardy

Their attitude and application have been nothing short of shameful

They are a huge part of the problem, if not THE problem itself

mahrez the scapergoat on here again I see.

The problem is not him and vardy, both are getting no ball time.

The problem is the defense and central midfield, both have been our weakness all season. I felt it is explained very well here by gary on the skysports video.

In short.

The back 4 cannot defend as a unit.
They sit far too deep inviting attacks.
When they have the ball it isnt played out with any thought instead its often just hoofed up field.
Drinkwater has been very poor all season.

Mahrez has not been doing much shooting which I think is from instruction from the manager. He is wasting too much time backtracking (not quite sure why he is called lazy), he should be staying forward so there is more chance of one of our "hoofs" finding one of our players.

The calls for players like musa and armerty is shocking as they both been poor, but unlike vardy and mahrez they have never been good in this league. Now to be fair to those 2 players they both been played out of position, armety is supposed to be a CB and musa a CF.

We managed to piss off enough schlupp to make him leave yet he makes good runs forward, and ulloa looked useful for us in his most recent games but now looks like he wont play again this season.

I still will keep saying mahrez should be up front with vardy. I would play this team.

kasper
simpson wague huth chilwell
albrighton ndidi mendy fuchs
mahrez vardy

musa sub second half to replace vardy or mahrez not as a winger which he is terrible at. morgan needs to be dropped and it can be done elegantly with the club claiming he is injured.

Jose managed to find a way to drop rooney at man utd and their form improved so captains are droppable.

I disagree with alot of what your saying, but will defend your right to say it.

Have a read through all of that....:)

I honestly thought we were down after the Swansea game. We were so inept. I think we need to appreciate the wonderful job that Shakespeare has done in turning us around.

You never know what's around the corner. Again.
