4-4-2 and a combination of 11 herbs and spices. Will be appointed permanent soon.
I would go with something like:

Wanker

Wanker. Wanker. Wanker. Wanker

Wanker. Wanker. Wanker. Wanker

Vardy. Wanker

I'd look at this game as a one off opportunity to shake the squad up. If we stick with the usual suspects, I can only see a limp defeat with them feeling sorry for themselves.

I'd drop Schmeichel on the basis that he was awful on Monday. He waved in their only shot on target and his distribution was dreadful. Let's give the new keeper a go.

I'd go with a back three including Maguire and Dragovic. Our only real wing back option are Albrighton and Chilwell. Fuchs also deserves dropping for a shameful display last time out.

I'd also take the bold step of dropping Vardy for this one on the basis of his poor performance on Monday as well. You cannot be allowed to coast and get away with it.

So:

Jakupovic
Morgan Maguire Dragovic
Albrighton Ndidi Iborra Chilwell
Okazaki Mahrez
Slimani

If Fuchs plays I'll cry.

He was an absolute insult on Monday

Agree. But of course no chance whatsoever of Appleton doing that.

At least Appleton has no real long link with the club and the new bloke can start completely afresh

But of course no chance whatsoever of Appleton doing that.

That'd be my take too. Change the system and lose = Appleton's fault. 'As you were lads' and loose = players' fault. Given you have (potentially) only 1 game before your P45 and are naturally concerned about your CV, which would you do?

Another way of looking at it is that we clearly have to go in another direction now so just identifying yourself with the previous regime(s) in terms of formation and selection isn't likely to do you any good either.

Doesn't seem like that sort of bloke, does he?

It'll be "as you were"

Vardy is one player that is really peeving me off at the moment.
Opposition attack, defence wins ball back, look up for a pass, Vardy is nonchalantly walking back to the half way line with his arms raised.
Also Slim n Shinji did link up well against the Scousers in the cup.

Yep - a 'light hearted' training session because the poor players were all shocked and down in the dumps about their mate being sacked, together with directing them to the owners when asked why he had gone

Instead of exposing the fact that two very decent people, who together have been architects of the Leicester miracle, have now both been sacked because they have fart-arsed around like complete and utter duffers who couldn't give a shit.

They should have been told to shut the feck up, and run up and down Wanlip pit until they drop.

Wankers

That's the tragedy of it all, isn't it?

I'll be at this one. In the Director's Box. At least I won't have to hide the glee as Foxes romp.

Maybe interesting as I know the owners are coming, wonder if they'll bring anyone with them...
