Can't wait. This pre-season has to be about the most excruciating ever. I believe a 2-0 win on the cards with Dyer & Howard on target. I hope the sun is shining for the first time in months too so I can get me pins out in a pub garden beforehand.

I'm really excited for the start of the season... but gutted because I'm working all day (8.30am til 9pm) on Saturday, so can't even listen to the game, and probably won't even know the score until I get home Trying to swap shifts around though so I get the afternoon off, just to listen to it on the radio!

That's why I do it as infrequently as possible.

True... but weekends while there is footy on just makes it that much worse. Especially since I have no way of checking scores or anything at work

And then get angry at little kids and their dads who come in in football shirts, while their team are playing (often on TV) and I'm like how could you not be watching the game? Feckers.

Of course not.
I was just surprised at the size of the defeat being predicted.
It was a chilling reminder of the 0-5 defeat by Bolton on the first day of the 2001-2002 season thats all.
