This surprises me. I would have thought that our new owners would have been lining up an Asian tour for us pre-season.
 
Since the arrival of Sven, the whole outlook of the club is so much more professional, reinstatment of a scouting system, possible pre-season tounament, against good opposition, things look bright ,things look Sven!!

I'm guessing, and this is a wild stab in the dark, that as it's a pre-season tour that it might just be sometime between sort of June to August.

Now I'm no expert and may well be proven wrong but if my memory serves me correctly, I think that most pre-season tours are held pre-season.

I'm not guessing, because I actually read past the first two lines of the article that was linked to.

"We are in talks at the minute about a tour of Sweden in July, but nothing is confirmed yet,"

said Eriksson.

Russia's oddly changing (i think this season) but the other two are summer leagues. If the right dough's on the table, it's not uncommon for the Swedish and Norwegian teams to play mid-season friendlies.

Well no point in staying in the UK when there's no football, so I think I'll be back in Sweden by then! :icon_bigg

Flights - cheap, everything else, especially alcohol - expensive. Still think you should go, Sweden's much nicer summertime than now.

They are, but there is usually a summer break so Swedish teams play friendlies in July anyway. Lots of English teams have come to Sweden during pre-season in recent years, I know Southampton and Aston Villa were both in Skellefteå where I come from.

EDIT: Just saw Hazzman said the same thing.
