I purchased three Forest FA Cup replay tickets online and paid just £45, no booking fee.

I have gone to order three Swindon tickets in the same way and they want to charge £1 per ticket booking fee!

WTF?

For the Forest game I looked online to buy and they would charge me the booking fee, however my mate got his through my account (as Friend & Family) and didn't pay booking fee.

I use F&F too but for the Swindon game, even though I am logged in to my account there is still a booking fee.

Come on its 3 quid ya scratting bastard!

Just collected the tickets in person. Ticket office reckon that it was an error last time and that there should be a booking fee every time.

Well they won't get more than face value from this punter.

I'd rather have an extra pie or pint than waste three quid on something that shouldn't be charged.

And WTF does scratting mean anyway? You been corrupted by the Notts folk or summat Ted?!

Its a word I hear all the time back home!

scrat
To look for something you need. Like if you need some more money for your lunch at school then you could ask people, look on the floor etc. This would be scratting for money. Not always used for money but mostly is. If scratting for objects it means getting them without buying them (stealing, finding, borrowing etc).

That is OK if your return travel costs to the Booking Office is less than £1, and you do not put a value on your time to get there and back.

Beautifully said. On the other hand could always have bought on the day… can't see the KP being that full on Saturday, surely…?

Not if I want to guarantee my own seats I couldn't.

Don't they add a surcharge for tickets bought on the day or has that stopped now?

Can I buy a ticket online at the season ticket holder price? I can't find any option other than to pay £20 via LCFC Direct.

website playing up as usual. we've had to move seat for the Swindon fans and every time i try to buy seats together using friends and family we end up with seats spread all over the place. Been trying for a few days now in the hope they will sort it, looks like a trip to the ticket office. Had no problem with Brighton tickets it though went straight trough.

For a club of our stature the website is pretty shoddy, nothing new there though. I'm not surprised about the addition of a booking fee, they'd charge you for cheering a goal if they thought it possible. Customers, not fans and all that.
