If you're going to steal from the train companies you should be prepared to pay the consequences when they find out.

Yes, as I said before, £14.60 is not the adult fare.

It's not really stealing and how will they find out, it's a joke that when you turn 16 you are seen as an adult.

I give up cheapes fair for a U16 is 13.60?

Why?
You could have a full time job eraning lots of money, why should the train companies subsidise your travel?

Are you joking?

Surely it's not that difficult to find a train fare?

Well I haven't, so it makes no difference to me whether I am 15 or 16.

I don't care no more, I'll find out when I get there.

Thanks is that child?

Go to http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/en/pj/asfc

Fill in the details for you journey, from, to, and the dates and times.

Scroll down and select the number of adults and number of children.]

Click on 'search'

You'll see details of the available journeys.

Click on 'check fares'.

It will show you a table of the single and return fares available, and the types of ticket.

Scroll down to the 'return fares' section, and look at the off peak fares. This is the return fare you'll have to pay.

If you scroll up a bit and click on 'see all details' it will show you the changes required for each journey.

So now you know how to do it I don't expect you to ask any basic train fare questions again.
