In the 2 games i've seen this season IMO Howard has been fantastic. Even with the penalty miss. He's won a stupid amount of headers, head up the ball very well and has shown a bit of skill turning on with the ball - something we didn't see him do much of last season. He looks fitter too. Goal would be nice though.

I do not recall Howard having any dip in form at all last season.

Are you confusing him with Fryatt who did have a big dip in form from Xmas onwards?

Or do you mean the rest of the team played crap for the two or three matches that Howard missed through suspension?

Without wanting to cliche monger. Form is temporary, class is permanent
