It's being removed from the club shop but you'll still get discounts in other areas (restaurants etc?)

When I bought my season ticket, there was a clear understanding that it entitled me to a 10% discount in the club shop. How can they just stop this in mid-season and replace it with a "redeemable in certain circumstances" 2%?
I've checked the small print in the season ticket booklet, and there's no mention of the 10% discount in there, and I've not been able to find any mention of it on the application form for the season tickets, or on the OS. Has anyone got the stuff they sent through the post to see if it's mentioned there?
If this teamcard thing has been planned for some time (which it looks like it has, despite the lack of local businesses taking part), they may have deliberately omitted the 10% discount from the season ticket documentation because they knew this was going to happen.
Why, the meetings are a waste of time.
