The whole running of the club is a shambles, when are they going to realise that the fans are the lifeblood of the club. It's one thing after another. I am absolutely disgusted with this. As far back as i can remember we have always been given discount in the club shop, now they change it. The team card idea is rubbish anyway but to make it worse you can only utilise it if you go on a shopping tour of the U.K! I'm becoming totally disillusioned with the whole thing as i'm sure many others on here are.

I personally had a complaint to make to the club about student tickets offers which they currently run doing me out of about £300. I finaly had an e-mail this morning "aknowledging" my letter and they will get back to me soon. This aknowledgement has taken them 3 weeks. It will probably take them the same now to come up with some spineless excuses.

All the benefits of having a season ticket are slowly being taken away, and i thought they were trying to increase ST sales .......

my thoughts exactly-they preach at us how there our voice and all that crap, yet when it comes to issues which truely affect the fans they have done sweet fa-supporters trust-whatever.

Cos they are shareholders.

I doubt if this sort of thing is discussed with the shareholders. It would be more pertinent to ask if the fans forum members were aware of it - it's the sort of thing you would expect the club to discuss with them.

Of course, it could be a reaction to income stream / cash flow issues revealed during due diligence.

I was answering DDs point that the knew about things to do with the takeover. They knew that as shareholders. Day to day commercial decisions are not normally discussed with shareholders in any company.

OK the trust might hope to be told as a fans group, as might the supporters club, but I would expect, as I said before, that the club would talk to the group they set up to consult fans on things like this - the Fan's Forum. If they failed to do that it is a far more worrying indication of a disconnection with the supporters.

Might be a good idea to go into the shop, select your puchaces, let the cashier check your goods out, then produce your ST. When she says sorry discount is no longer available, say I dont want the feckin stuff then and walk out.

I have always been aware that 10% discount is given in the shop. I cannot understand why they did not pull this perk away on the next ST....

I'd like to know exactly how much the fan's forum knew about this, cos I would like to think if they had any idea this would be the end product then they would've complained long and loud about how absolutely stupid it is!

Does the board honestly expect fans to go to these places just to earn points to save a paltry couple of quid in the clubshop?

How on earth can they justify the statement on the OS saying it's a -win/win' situation for everyone when it quite clearly ISN'T for the season ticket holders?

It's about time the people who are supposed to be representing the fans started doing what they are supposed to and find out why the board are treating us like feckwits.
