In many ways I agree with you, however I do like Hume, but as a squad player. I like Hume in that he works hard, when confident he can score great goals, he's not afraid to put his foot in and the service he has receieved from our midfield and defence is so laughable it's silly.
:038:
he has to go and get the ball himself most of the time too

Henderson
Maybury - Kisnorbo - McAuley - Nisse
Porter - Johnson - Hughes
Hume
Horsefield - Fryatt

The Fullbacks are both shite I know but whats the alternatives:102: We desperately need A Right Back and A Left Back...amongst others.I can see why Horsfield has had so many clubs now, didn't look arsed to me on Tuesday

Yeah I think He gave up to easily

I think it's more a matter of fitness, or he's already lost it with the Kelly/Stowell regime.

p.s. I may not be going to this match, I have sort of been offered to go to Old Trafford to watch Man Utd vs Bolton for free, not too sure yet. Never been to Old Trafford before, bound to be a better game then Leicester vs Qpr, i just hope i am not now known as a turn coat or judas :icon_cry:

Of course....

You should definitely experience Old Trafford, next season, with the foxes....

you may not be a turncoat but you obviously no nothing about players abillity. hughes needs to change careers my friend :018:

Yeates can play either wing so use as the sub. Start Porter and Newton. Put Hume in alongside Tiatto and behind Horsfield and Hammond .. and fecking ditch Maybury for Stearman!

I disagree with both of you; I think Hughes was one of the better performers vs Leeds, i dont think he is worthy of a first team place, not ahead of AJ or Tiatto. Maybury isnt the greatest, but greater then Stearman, personally id rather play Myself/Boc/MHS/NF/Lazzer/Duzza/Willow/PDS/OG/Jeff/Melton/MrsMelton (... the list goes on... )then Stearman

It cracks me up how we try desperately to juggle a pack of very average footballers to find that magic formula. Alas there is no magic boys, when it has clicked this season (which is rarely) it's more down to chance than anything else. The defenders are the only people who have really earnt their places this season the rest are much or a much. Until get at least 2 players in midfield who can pass it about we might as well play Jarrett and tiatto together - at least we they'll kick the other team off the park.

I honestly thought Jarrett has been very poor when I have seen him, but there we go. Our midfield is constantly shuffling too, more out of cluelessness than injury. To add insult to injury, Yeates who looks capable has hardly featured, Cads who too looks useful could be out the door and meanwhile Weso, who once looked great, is never in the reckoning. Johnson has ability which we have seen - once MM came on board, he's no fool and knows he needs to play well to guarantee a new contract. In the end, and it pains me to say this, but Tiatto is probably our 'best' option in the middle with Hughes/Johnson and Porter and Yeates on the flanks. It may be an idea for our full backs to look to play the ball to these chaps rather than knocking it long for Hume/Fryatt/Horse/Hammond or anyone else unlucky enough to feed from the scraps of our delicate passing strategy....

The alternative is Maybury who spent most of the last game passing the ball to Leeds players!
