The Turkish league is a retirement home much like the MLS. It's effectively as if we loaned someone to a league one or two club and because they were decent there they must automatically be an option for a PL team pushing for the top 4.

Imho, Ghezzal has no future with us. And I say that as someone who recognised his technical abilities. He is just too slow for our game.

He was a bit of a panic buy in the first place, someone that might work for us. Like Diabaté. They have skills, and will shine at the appropriate level, but there's a component missing that prevents them making it in the Prem. Diabté was worth the punt, Ghezzal less so.
