Nah, he scores the odd long shot every now and then but otherwise flatters to deceive from what I've seen. Not the really creative midfielder we're after IMO.

We won't miss him though, not that he's been bad, but he's hardly been good either. He's one of the most meh, 5 out of 10 and forgettable players I can ever remember.

I couldn't disagree more. [forgetting the first few "performances" under Sousa] I think he's done every job that he's been assigned more than competently. He did very well as a defensive midfielder and I'd like to see what he can do in a more "box to box" role. Unfortunately that doesn't seem like happening.
