sky sports website linking us with Runje (35yo croatian keeper), out of contract rumoured to be training with us, obviously just as a back up keeper.

That's not what Weller did. Nor what Mike Stringfellow had done at Cov a few seasons earlier.
 
Runje

According to Sky Sports website the former Croation goalkeeper Runje is currently training with the City with a view to a possible deal. HE's 35 and currently without a club. Don't shoot the messenger.

Too right! Mind you, in a few years we'll be wheeling wheelbarrows full of em down to the local supermarket to try and get a loaf of bread if things carry on the way they are.

Haha, he can have it! I'll be writing to Steve Bruce to let him know how severely disappointed I am in him and to let him know where he can send me the tenner he owes me, as it's technically his fault...

I feel bad taking it now! but in all honestly for the good of the board its probs best you payup! otherwise future bets will mean nothing ! and I honestly was prepared to pay up considering it looked like her was turning things around a few weeks back!
