I imagine it's because London sits in one of the high-up seats Waghorn constantly peppers with his shots.

:) ... Ya know I wouldn't be surprised if one his shots (a 100% effort of a shot of course) hit me while I was sitting here in Chicago.
 
But there's worse strikers/forwards in this League who had a stunning one match run of form seven months ago against Derby.

If he's playing well, keep him in the team. If he loses form (for whatever reason), feed him to the crocodiles!

That was a day when I genuinely questioned why I even bother.
 
There are a lot worse strikers/forwards in the league than Waghorn.

Of course he is no Lionel Messi but we are no Barcelona either so I really don't get the disdain towards Waghorn apart from people jumping on the bandwagon as usual.

Same with Konchesky too. Never really going to set the world alight, although he has scored 2 or 3 very good strikes that any player would be proud of, but very solid player IMO.

I think that part of the reason is that he was signed for a ridiculous fee - not his fault of course. He did show a lot of promise when he was here on loan but since then he
he's looked like he gives 100% but a woeful finisher. Older (much older) supporters will recall Jon Sammels - he also specialised in sending shots circa 30 foot over the bar then scoring the occasional astonishing goal - but unlike Waghorn, Sammels was a midfielder rather than a forward and he could play football.

@NatJacksonsport: I understand #nffc have increased their offer for #lcfc defender Wes Morgan. A second bid went in last night and was rejected this morning.
