Hobbs describes it as Leicester having "slight interest."

I must say I'm worried about our current squad, it reminds of the 11/12 season when it was said that Man Utd lost the PL to Man City because they failed to add to their squad that season whereas Man City had made some decent signings that just clinched it.

We need to add to the current squad - especially in certain positions.

Perhaps we might see some movement with Beckford gone, although it wouldn't surprise me if we don't.

I'd settle for second on goal difference.

That's what is wrong with football these days. Yes it'd be good to be in Europe, but unless you're top you're not a winner. I don't see us finishing above the big 3 soon though...

The aforementioned Luke Hendrie has played in todays game at Ilkeston as a trialist. Drawing 0-0 as the game comes to an end.

Looks like #lcfc are on the verge of their 1st summer signing for the 1st team. News on 104.9fm in the morning

Not sure if it's related to dpj's post.

Exeter's Supporters' Trust does something similar in the form of their 1931 fund. It's currently paying the wages of former City man Elliott Chamberlain.

http://www.exeterexiles.co.uk/1931

The Foxes Trust ran a syndicate to sponsor a player who had come through the Academy for several seasons, we also listed syndicate members, see this link which gives details of the players sponsored http://foxestrust.co.uk/player-sponsorship however each syndicate member paid £20 each in total

The syndicate ceased when the clubs commercial department changed the sponsorships available

Recently the Foxestalk message board tried to generate a scheme to sponsor Matty James and had to drop it due to lack of backing.

If posters on here indicate they would match the Exeter scheme and contribute £19/month each, and enough indicate an interest by the end of July, then putting forward a scheme to club would be discussed at the next Trust board meeting
