Re: The annoying totally unfounded yet traditional summer rumours thread

James Harper has been released by Sheffield United , I rated him when he was at Reading.

Any good ?

Sheffield United obviously don't think so, even as a squad player

They'll all get a letter saying 'thank you for your interest but the position has been filled'.

I thought you'd made the odds up, especially when I saw Brendan Rodgers's name

Green:icon_wink. It's not PC to use red any more:102:

All these green pens, coming over here, taking jobs away from hard-working red pens. Hell in a handcart, couldn't make it up and so on.

The world's gone mad, when I was a lad Britain was actually Britain unlike now. Makes me ashamed to come from here and I'd leave to another country that is Britain now, if they'd have me

the attitude of some of the players could make him feel like leaving, but Cov is surely a step in the wrong direction. I reckon he'll hold out until a bigger club like Preston come for him

All indicate Pearson is not going to be the manager of Cov

The bookies dont agree

Your odds indicate that they do, in fact, agree with Fitz's point

James Harper has been released by Sheffield United

To be absolutely pedantic he was on loan at Sheff U, so they didn't release him as such. He hated their style of play anyway ( so my sources tell me ). Looks like he's off to join Gordon Strachan at 'Boro. God help him.
