The world's gone mad, when I was a lad Britain was actually Britain unlike now. Makes me ashamed to come from here and I'd leave to another country that is Britain now, if they'd have me

To be absolutely pedantic he was on loan at Sheff U, so they didn't release him as such. He hated their style of play anyway ( so my sources tell me ). Looks like he's off to join Gordon Strachan at 'Boro. God help him.
