Neil Danns is quality, always thought so, and will add to our attacking midfield options. Yuki Abe would be a 50/50punt (and is almost an anagram of Akinbiyi). But, a defensive midfielder who was everpresent for a side that did great in the world cup would be a step up as far as i'm concerned. Given that we don't currently have a defensive midfielder of any kind!
Get em in.
and then splash 2m on a striker - spree over!

Danns runs around a lot and scores a few goals. I know a few Palace fans and they can't believe we're after him. He's the sort of player 80% of Leicester fans will fawn over though. He'll probably kiss the badge a fair bit, loves publicity etc, shoots from anywhere.

Joey Gudjonsson mk II. That should get some of the idiots salivating.

i wud lov danns hes well good!!!!1111!!

Michael Chopra to join on a 3 year deal for £3.5m. You heard it here first!

Also City to conclude deals in next 48 hours for Yuki Abe and Neil Danns.

Also in talks with Sunderland over Anton Ferdinand moving to the Walkers now he is surplus to requirements (Season loan or 1.5m transfer being discussed)

Would rather Whittingham - not that any of this is worth the screen it's printed on.

Chopra would be a spot on signing, cant see it happening though.

On Danns, Sousa made it clear to RL last night that he was a player he wanted last year but not now.

Barnsley manager Mark Robins is willing to loan out striker Iain Hume, who has struggled for form since a serious head injury.

The Canadian has struggled since suffering a fractured skull against Sheffield United two years ago and was left out of the Barnsley squad last weekend.

Robins told the Yorkshire Post: "Iain's not getting any games here so it might be right that he goes out on loan.

"I'll keep an eye on his frustration and hope it doesn't boil over."

Should we attempt to sign him :102:

From Sky Sports web site:

Crystal Palace boss George Burley has brushed off reports suggesting midfielder Neil Danns could be on his way to Leicester City.
