Any news on Mc Grath. IMO it could decide the series. Someone in the Aussie squad mentioned he was moving around much better, but i would hope he's out for Old Trafford now that we are right back in the series.

Have a sneaky feeling they made out his injury was worse than it really is. Wouldn't be at all suprised is he was suddenly fit on Thursday morning.

I heard he'll be out for the remaining 3 tests! :038: :038:

Thats what the aussies want you to believe Joe!

No, it's true Duzzer - just you wait.

Brett Lee is in hospital with a knee infection and is a doubt for the 3rd test. If Mc Grath is out then they will be without 2 of their 3 main strike bowlers. Lets hope so, i've waited years to see the Aussies under some real pressure.:)

Probably both be fit - Aussie mind games.

What's the difference between Australia and a Pot of yogurt?

If you leave a pot of yogurt alone for 200 years it will develop it's own culture.

Tait to replace Gillespie for the Trent Bridge test. Good news imo because i can't remember the last time the Aussies were forced to change their side half way through a series, due to an out of form player.

Reckon this one might be a draw as well due to weather. Dont fancy these rain showers much. Gonna be broken play tomorrow, but think we might get a bit more over the weekend. It will go down to the last test.:)

Apologies to anyone going away, but i hope a dirty great feckin cloud or hurricane Katrina finds her way over to the Oval by next Thursday.;)

Made me laugh last night when the cricket forum on 5 Live were going over the row about Ponting and Englands use of sub fielders. To recall, Ponting was fuming to be run out by Englands sub fielder Gary Pratt in the last test and accused us of cheating. Good old ' Tuffers' said it wouldn't be a bad idea when Ponting comes out to bat at the Oval, to send Gary Pratt out right behind Ponting. Then for him to take a up a position right under Pontings nose, like silly mid on/off. You naughty boy tuffers, how dare an Englishman wind up the Aussie cricket captain. :icon_lol:

yeh coz the aussies never do that to us!!

I reckon its sounds a like a plan. Im surprised Ponting didnt make some joke about Garys surname though. Thats about the level of Aussie Humour and come to think of it mine as well!

Weather sounds iffy later in the week. How fantastic it would be to see the rain belting down and a load of glum Aussies gauping out the windows and praying. Happy days.:icon_lol:

I would love that to. the aussies are always saying how good their weather is and taking the pee out of our weather. I would absolutly love it if the good old british weather won it for us! fecking brill.

i reckon we should all start doin the smilie raindance.

ready 1.2.3...... :umbrella: :lightning :rain: :umbrella: :lightning :rain: :umbrella: :lightning :rain:

I'd like to see us win this series properly. I think we can.
The ashes are very important to win back, but isn't it more important to enjoy top quality cricket?
If we aren't good enough then so be it. I want to see the 2 best teams in the world playing for a result.
go on then....shoot me down...

bang bang......

Only joking its a fair point but I also like the irony behind the weather beating the aussies. thats what I was trying to get across.
