does anybody realise how rumors are started?

known scouts are seen at certain grounds, when certain players/managers are in form and people/the papers put two and two together and certain people/us believe it.

i should know i fit kitchens and baths :icon_bigg

It's normally 3 things. Idle rumours between fans (The Jan Koller to Sunderland rumour for example) , scouts spotted at ground or the player's agent trying to fabricate a move.

Or some pillock coming on here or rumours.com claiming to have overheard a conversation between the bloke that walks the dog that lives next door to a close friend of someone who knows someone else etc etc ... and 9 times out 0f 10, it's all bollux

Andy Johnson, previously of Leicester City, has left the club by mutual consent. A source at the club is reported to have seen him saying his good byes and this fits in with the Clause in his contract; if he played another game for Leicester a Clause would be activated meaning Leicester City would have to offer him another year and Milan Mandaric did not approve of this as he does not think he is any good. Also, knowing that Leicester City were short of midfielders he tried to blackmail the club by saying that if he paid him a large sum of money he would play for the club and they wouldn't have to give him that extra year

I had the same thoughts. Was he not no. 2 to Vialli, Ranieri and Jose? If so, he must have picked up some useful experience.

Lennon set to end Celtic career

Neil Lennon is to leave Celtic at the end of the season, BBC Scotland understands.
The controversial Northern Irishman, who celebrated his fifth championship success at the weekend, is keen to pursue a coaching career in England. Lennon has enjoyed a colourful career in Scotland since signing from Leicester City in December 2000. The 35-year-old's final game for Celtic will be the Scottish Cup Final against Dunfermline on 26 May.
