Bramble is easily good enough to play in this division for any team and is an improvement on what we have already.
We won't sign him though, he will go to another Premiership team. FFS some people on here need to wake up if they think we are going to be looking at higher calibre players than Titus Bramble.

Some people need to go to spec savers if they think titus bramble is an acceptible defender to have in your team, even ipswich would tell him to **** off if he was to go back there. i can honestly say he is total and uttur wank of the highest order.

He has good defending attributes, he is strong, quick, good in the air and has got pretty good distribution as well. The only downside to his game is that he has the attention span of a 5 year old who has ADD and has just ate £1s worth of sweets!!
Bramble will go to another Premiership team guaranteed!

great, a center back with the attention span of a 5 year old, he wont cost you goals in the play offs will he. Quite a high attribute of a center back has to be Concentration, all the other attributes become obsolete without it.

Also, after seeing him play a number of times over the past 3 years I would say that he is easily good enough to get in any Championship team, some of the games I have watched he has played very, very well. Add to this the fact that Newcastle have probably been as big a joke as us in recent years with no decent manager to sort the players out.
What makes you think we will be in the Play-Offs anyway. Judging on the standards of this years we will need at least 11 new players this summer as well as a new manager!

MM plan is to have us in the premier inside 3 years, i would suspect a signing such as titus bramble would be designed to be with us for the duration of that 3 years, making me believe we will either be in the play offs or promotion in some time over that 3 years.

If it is to fit in with MM's plan then he must be good enough to win promotion then.
I think if we had Warnock and Bramble next season we would have a good chance of the play-offs but cannot see it happening as both will go to bigger teams than us.
