No case to answer because nobody made a complaint

Wonderful stuff :038:

Witness: "I think Darkies is a fine word personally. Nope, no problem here."

Intrepid researcher: "OK guys, case closed. Nothing to see here."

It used to be that a man was presumed innocent until found guilty. Homer and Miles Away have reversed this so Mr Robinson is presumed guilty even after being found innocent.

If you read the article you will find that he was cleared. Presumably he denies using the word. Presumably the person he was speaking to and the employee he was alleged to have been talking about seem to believe he never used to word.
Despite this Homer and Miles Away clearly believe he was guilty. Would they please explain why.

Someone once thought I was being patronising when I called a young man "Sonny". They did not bother to find out that his name was Sunhil and everybody including his parents called him Sonny. My guess is that "third party" misheard and jumped to the politically correct and wrong conclusion - perhaps like two esteemed members of this forum.

Since when was pulling somebody up for being a patronising ****, mistakenly or not, considered "politically correct"?

My fault for being ambiguous. The politically correct person I was referring to was the person who thought they heard racism apparently without checking. I can see how my post was ambiguous. The main reason for my post was curiosity about why Homer and Miles Away seem to believe Terry Robinson was guilty.

My guess is that since the case of Malky Mackay people in football will be more aware of prejudice and that this must be a good thing. Things are improving. Brian Clough a socialist who normally stood for what was best in football displayed appalling homophobia toward Justin Fashanu. That was the 1980s. My guess is that if it happened today it would be Clough not Fashanu who would be in trouble - and rightly.

David, the reason several members have found the man guilty of saying the word is that the judgement of the enquiry was 'no case to answer as no complaint received'. that's quite different to 'no evidence that the offending word was used'.

anyway, to save jeff any diffuculties, this must end here as the thread on foxes talk seems to have disapeared. Clearly those at the KP do pay attention to these places!

I am still puzzled. Why does that make him guilty?

What is genuinely puzzling is why on earth you think that my post pronounced the man guilty.

Quite strange, but feel free to make up anything else you wish to

So you're all for the death penalty?

And your fingers, or other parts of your body?

I fear this thread may have gone walkies although I have no information as to TR's opinion on tits.

I think he might refer to them as 'jubblies', 'thwangers' and/or 'thre'pennies'

But I'm not aware that anyone has ever made a complaint about his alleged use of these terms
