That reminds me of watching him in the away end at Filbert St once. He's a Bristol City fan and was most annoyed by the result/referee/policing/stewarding, etc. He stamped his feet in the most pompous 'don't you know who I am' kind of way, as part of a lengthy rant. It was hilarious. I think he genuinely expected someone to change the result for him. Unfortunately, it was the era before mobile phones as it would have been a major YouTube hit.

Whenever I stumble across him on that Time Team thing, I always think he's rummaging around in those ditches looking for some humility.
