Lots will be remembered about Wasilewski, and people will talk about him for years to come. But, a legend he is not.
To say "I'd also class Vardy as a legend" is a strange one, considering that he broke the premier league record for goals scored in consecutive games.
Breaking records makes you a legend.
Neither Mahrez nor Wasyl deserve that.
Vardy will be remembered as legend.
Mahrez isn't a legend even though he played a key role in us winning the premier league but Wasyl is a legend because he seems like a friendly bloke who didn't moan when he was get paid five figures per week to do nothing. Righto fif. Righto chap. Have a nice evening Coxy, your earned it.
Along with Monster Morgan, I named one of the characters in my latest novel "Big Waz" after him. The character wasn't a footballer, didn't show the same character as our 'Big Waz'; but I really like the guy, and I like the name. Using the same rationale, none of my fictional character are, or ever will be, called Denn*s W*se; no matter how clever they think they are.

I'd like to apologise to Moose, Boc and Cityfan for saying that Wasyl is a legend and getting them annoyed. You are right (though probably soulless) I used the word legend to show my appreciation, being a passionate football supporter who loved his unorthodox throwback style.
