We had a foreign football thread before but it got locked.

Anyone else watching the Inter vs Juve game on ESPN? I'm hoping Juve can hold on. (Real are also on the other side for afterwards)

Also, anyone catch Barcelona finally failing to win vs Gijon yesterday. Most animated I've ever seen Pep I think. :icon_lol:

Oh, and two words: Mario Goetze. That kid is going to be a star. :icon_cool

Eto'o hits the bar...

I thought this was a foreign football forum :102:

Also the great Ronaldo (not that greasy portugese twat) retired today. What a player!

Very sad, his career had effectively been over for at least four years, with the terrible injuries he had to his knees taking their toll. Interested to read that his weight problems had been cause by a dodgy thyroid rather than the celeb lifestyle everyone accused him of.

Probably best remembered for the 2002 WC, and that one year at Barce when he was simply amazing.

I think from now on PR should be Italian correspondent, myself Spanish, and Hazz everything else.

:018: Bundesliga before Serie A for me. Though I enjoy both, I'm a Dortmund man.
