According to the insiders on Foxestalk, we have enquired about Kieran Trippier and he is keen to come.

This would be very odd as he signed a new five year contract less than six months ago.

The only possibility is that Spurs want rid of him because he's taken over as the main right back this season and he's been very average. Many Spurs fans are losing patience with him and prefer Aurier (who is garbage defensively). He got panned for his performance against Man City last week.

However, the rumour suggests that the player wants to come which would seem highly unlikely unless he's had a fallout with the manager or other players.

If I reflect on our title winning back four, Puel appears to want better passing and more mobile defenders. I cannot imagine Huth getting back into the side unless we switch to a back three. Chilwell appears to be taking over from Fuchs. We're seemingly looking to replace Simpson, who'd I'd argue is a better defender than Trippier. Only Morgan remains and his age, lack of pace and passing ability mean his days must be numbered too.

I agree, I don't see how he fits at Liverpool unless they are selling someone. Arsenal or Man utd probably have the most need for him of teams in this country IMO.

I hope he stays until the summer but have accepted that he is going to leave sooner rather than later. I would prefer abroad.

Dead happy if this is true. We've needed right cover / options for ages now IMO.

Not much need imo, just an extra natural right back wouldn't go a miss for the 72nd transfer window in a row.

Would be more interested to see a few shipped out as we have too many strikers for a start and we must surely be looking to move Musa on at least and probably another.

As long as we keep Mahrez, we don't need to add much but it is a big if.
