Me too, both in terms of him personally and also as a Welsh fan.
Really sad to see him go, but can see why. If we were anywhere other than a top ten club with higher ambitions, he’d be here for the rest of his career.

Despite the result, yesterday was a good day. We learned a few things:
1. We kept our best player despite the worlds richest club trying to shake us down
2. We are now the kind of club that can turn down £60m offers for players
3. Our surplus to requirements players are good enough for other Premier League teams
4. We're spending a shit load of cash (circa £80m) on a new training complex
