You pay to hijack? It's a gazumping surely?
Nah. See, West Ham — sorry, that’s wrong.

The London Stadium outfit identified the 27-year-old England ace as their primary target in order to appease the fuming Hammers faithful. However, Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester have swooped at the eleventh hour to hijack the deal.

The East Midlands club, who shocked the world by topping the table in 2016, can offer the former Brentford defender European football, and it’s understood he would prefer a switch to the Foxes.

I think that covers it. Some would say bidding approximately half of the player’s market value meant the West Ham bid was a non-starter all along, and their board are either taking the ****ing piss or had no intention of completing the deal in the first place. The shithouse wankers.

Maybe Kolo gave David Gold a handjob to coax him into making a pitiful bid, so we could swoop in and our probably low but still respectable £30m bid looked great.

Maybe that's too simplistic of an answer though.

Tarkowski would be a decent signing. cant imagine him coming to us if he thinks we will play a 2 and that he will be behind Evans and Soyuncu. on that basis id say that no matter what we bid he would probably go to west ham or another if he wants to play in euro 21..

Why would Tarkowski go to West Ham ? Its a sideways move at best and given the shit state of the club a downward move. Especially as that clown Moyes will get sacked after 6 games.
Not sure he would come to Leicester either especially if he's taking Morgan's seat on the bench, unless we double his wages that is

If we play 3 CBs then he'd be a great fit.

Google translated:
‘‘Sampdoria, understood one step away. Near the arrival of Adrien Silva from Leicester
Adrien Silva towards Sampdoria. Confirmed the indications of the last few days on the Sampdoria goal, Ferrero's club would have decided to get serious. Profitable contacts for days on the Portuguese goal, Silva will leave Leicester and Sampdoria's fate is approaching. Final details to be filed with the player on an economic level, then the awaited white smoke. With the OK of Claudio Ranieri‘’

Tarkowski would be a top signing, and in this market, to sell Chilwell for £45m and get Tarkowski and a highly rated lb/rb in Castagne for about £51m would be excellent business IMO.

His stats speak for themselves last season, comparable and better in numerous categories than Evans'. Whilst it's important to take these stats with a pinch of salt because quite often they depend on which team the player plays for; they are a great indicator that adding Tarkowski could be excellent.

He's also approaching his prime and at 27 years old has his best 5 years ahead of him imo.
