Wesley's 'confirming' tweet seems to have gone (or is there something else about twitter that I don't understand) so praps he spoke too soon/out of turn.

Soumaré is certainly just a wee bit useful, very much in the Ndidi mould (long, spidery legs) with perhaps a few added tricky skills, quick too.

Fofana deleted his tweet now, probably got told off by the club, but certainly seemed like it is happening.

Hope it's not a replacement for anyone but adding more depth.

It'd be good to get a decent signing done early. Sends a positive message that we're building. I don't think it'll be a replacement either (well, maybe Mendy will assess his options and decide to move on) so, yes, building and - more importantly - strengthening.

I wonder if we will lose anyone (i.e. 'important') over the summer? Be nice to buck the trend of the last few years.
