Speculation The hysterical and annoying, but traditional, totally unfounded winter 2022/23 rumours thread

Completely guessing here. We’ve tried to shift Cags, Praet and Vestergaard unsuccessfully so Albrighton has become the next realistic option.
I'd imagine squad places, plus total wage cost, have to be considered and Marc was the next logical option.

It sounds like he's wanting to play more too so it doesn't appear we have pushed him out the door.

That's it then.

Kristiansen, Tete and Souttar in and Perez and (probably) Albrighton out.

All those registered can stay registered too.

After the awful mess in the summer, this is a much better window. And we're still about £20m in profit over the year.
Profit is a funny thing and at best, an accounting convention. The good news is the we are 20m better in the bank than we were 6 months ago and that is what really counts.

Are we though?

Leicester City has confirmed the signing of the Australian defender from Championship side Stoke City on a five and a half year deal.

“I’m delighted to join such a great football club and challenging myself in the Premier League is an opportunity that I couldn’t turn down,“ Souttar told Leicester City‘s official website.

“There are world-class facilities here and a squad full of fantastic players, so I can’t wait to get started.”
