Speculation The hysterically annoying, and totally unfounded, but traditional, January 2024 rumours thread.

I guess the whole deal rested on us selling someone. As that hasn’t happened then I imagine it won’t go ahead. The club won’t risk falling foul of FFP.

Maresca already pissed off with the miserable ungrateful fans, and now this

This ain’t pretty

It seems unfathomable to me that we can't find takers for the likes of Praet, Souttar, Nacho, Daka, etc if they're players we're looking to offload.

As much as we joke and complain about some of them - there's plenty of worse players that get moves.

The wages we pay some of these must be ludicrous for them to not want moves elsewhere.

I think we must have our own transfer window seperate from other clubs & some **** has bricked it up.

It would appear to be a complete shambles, legal issues according to SKY, surely these issues would have been sorted ages ago, I understand that he had been to Seagrave 10 days ago to check things out and had agreed everything then, why these problems where known then, SHAMBLES, Ruskin wants sacking

Manager wanted one player, and we’ve known about it all month long

Gets to the last hour, and we appear to have ****ed up the whole work permit thing

We’ve had a whole ****ing month

Is Rudkin still in charge of this stuff? Honestly you’d think most people in most jobs wouldn’t have survived a **** up on the scale of the Silva debacle, yet here we are 6 years later.

We're probably going to be victims of the rank mismanagement of the club over the last few years for a few more years yet.
We've got players on the books on big money quite happy not to move for lesser offers.
Until their contracts are up we're dependent on one of two of them deciding they'd rather actually play football somewhere than sit around getting paid fortunes to play with themselves in the showers at Seagrave.
We've also got players like Kristiansen & Souttar, signed by our shiny new recruitment team that our new manager took one look at & said " no thanks, they can **** off " It's all very silly & tbh makes us look like a two bob operation.
& as usual, not a peep out of the owners or the board on any subject at any level.

The Rudkin/Whelan axis is a hell of a lot more entitled than any fans are.
They basically helmed a shit stinking disaster & have faced no consequences whatsoever for it.

This story has a fair while to run. back in the PL or otherwise.

Another window with a long list of players to sell and they're all still here.

Another window where our manager doesn't get what he asks for.

Playing brinkmanship with Inter over the wages we pay to Vardy every few days.

Can't wait for the accounts.

From Football Italia

Sensi’s agent Beppe Riso was asked by Sportitalia this evening how the deal was going and replied: “We still have to wait some more.”

Now Sky Sport Italia, Tuttomercatoweb and others all report the problem is regarding Leicester City’s Financial Fair Play parameters.

Sensi has seemingly already undergone his medical tests and is in England, the problem remains the formula of the transfer and getting a work permit.

Leicester seemingly cannot afford to commit to the €2.5m move, so want it to be €500,000 plus €2m in bonuses in case of promotion to the Premier League.“

But pop says we've got loads of money??

But pop says we've got loads of money??
He doesn't. He says that he has no idea about the club's real finances. Like everyone else outside of the business. He doesn't make up complete ****ing, tinfoil hat wibble about us being squillionty pounds in debt and definitely heavily involved in massive criminality because he once had a dream about it or read it on The Daily Mail Sport Section aka The Street.
