I think we might have had a look around to see if we could pick up someone from a smaller club - say a manager with international experience; probably a former manager of Sunderland AFC - someone who is never likely to be successful at the top level, but who would have had the nouse to keep us out of the Third Division.

If I could turn back the clock, I would have invaded Carlo Nash's brain with my mind powers, and hurled the ball into Stoke's net. It would have made everyone at Stoke happy. They would still be up (for a season) and, City would have been safe.

We haven't had any luck this season, two dodgy penalty decisions costing us points, you would have thought someone would take pity on a feckless team?
