I went with my parents. I'm apparantly spending my inheritence whilst they are still alive. I don't blame them really.

If they have to be of Desert's standards then you wont be getting anything. I find the trouble with wildlife is that it tends to be gone by the time I've got my camera out.

But any pictures of the landscape, mountains, seas, nightlife etc. Well maybe not nightlife.

I went 25 years ago on my honeymoon. Might have changed a bit since then.
We stayed at Aghios Nikolas (sp), Hotel had it's rooms as small apartments on a hillside leading down to the sea.
Ours was feet away from the water, very nice, very romantic,
Vai beach is where they used to film the bounty advert. (surprising really cos it's not a sandy beach like I expected).

If you're going with a group of lads, it's certainly not Ibiza, if you're off with your latest squeeze, you'll enjoy it. (well, Crete from 25 years ago :icon_lol:)
 
just back from driving on the back of a motorbike to Budapest via France/Belgium/Luxembourg/Germany/Austria/Slovakia

made it back as far as Munich and then my cousin ditched me after a drunken argument i don't remember... so woke up with a massive hangover in Munich, very confused and went the flughaven to get home

Sziget festival was good though

LOL. I wish I was a millionaire! Although I do travel quite well and extensively, I rarely actually pay for it. I just know how to use (and abuse) frequent flyer programmes!

Aye thats the place.I'd imagine it is nice when its not absolutely pissing down....and you haven't got three kids with you.Looks good 'walking' country....and then drinking country afterwards
