Just got back on my Jet Plane :(
 
need some tbers' advice...

i have a 6:30 AM flight from Luton saturday morning and I work in the middle of London on friday

do i

a) go up to Leicestershire to my parents and share their cab down at silly o'clock
b) get a hotel in Luton airport and get up at silly o'clock
c) go Luton Airport late friday, have a few beers and then kip on a seat somewhere half-cut until.....yes you guessed it....silly o'clock
d) something much better than the 3 crap options i've thought of so far
 
You are going to have to be there around 4:30am to 5am anyway. Hang around the airport with a few cans or a bottle. Pointless going all the way up to Leicester to just turn around and come back down the M1. A hotel you might oversleep.
No be a pain in the arse in the airport. When I go to Juventus matches I usually drive to the airport and drink a few cans in the car in the car park.

Are there no late night pubs in Luton? Drop you bags at the airport and go out on the piss?
 
Certainly some form of getting pissed seems the best option. Get your parents to wake you up when they arrive.

Get a bus at silly o' clock from Victoria (Buckingham Palace road stop) near where the Oxford Tube (Bus) goes from.

Get to Luton have a fryup and a pint.

That's what I'd do :icon_bigg

Go to Luton the night before, check in your luggage and retire to a nearby hotel for a beer and a night's sleep, arrive back at the airport for around 5-30, giving you enough time to clear security and grab a quick pint before boarding.

aah, nice one, didn't even think of the bus...i've got time to kill and it's dead cheap, cheers billyjof

i'll get the C10 from my house to Victoria and if i miss the last one, i'll wing it on the fright buses across drunken London

then catch a 2:30 victoria bus, have a snooze

that'll do me, many thanks

might start setting my alarm early to get used to it and getting ready for friday being a few cheeky beers and sleep by 8 :) (no change there then, before someone says it)
 
off to Malta tonight

hope it rains on all your sorry asses
