Fair enough HF, I was just trying to illustrate that you can get to these places for feck all these days.
Dublin for instance was £1 each way the other day, including ALL taxes. I think it's a fiver at the minute.

I think you would also enjoy some parts of Canada, very remote and walkable. At least it looked that way, I was driving at the time!

I got made redundant last year, so money's been a bit tight. I'll just be happy to get there. Ideally, I'd prefer to head to Punta Cana/Bavaro, as I went there about 4 years ago, and the beaches are absolutely beautiful. But i'd be happy to go to the North of the island (Puerto Plata, etc.). Just really wherever funds allow.
Where abouts did you visit?
