Sky Sports Power Rankings. They're based on lots of different stats - you can see how they're worked out here: http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-are-the-sky-sports-power-rankings-calculated

That's interesting but the points allocation needs some serious amendment. It's too arbitrary.

For example, one of the best players in the league this year was De Gea. He was immense time and again and was instrumental in making Utd the best defence in the league. Yet he's nowhere to be seen. He should definitely be in the top five.

A few others would make me think they need to go back to the drawing board:
  • Moreno above Azpilicueta
  • Barkley above De Bruyne
  • Giroud above Lukaku
All play in the same positions but the rankings are clearly incorrect.

However they are calculated, we end up with 9 of the top 30 places which is quite frankly astonishing and totally gives the lie to all the Spurs and others who said we were lucky etc.

As with most sports, the harder we worked the luckier we got! So we are fitter, faster and fearless. And we will be again next season.

That list is totally wrong, the first 11 places should have gone to Spurs players...they were the best team in the league.

Arsenal got 41 points away from home in 03/04, and that was nowhere near the record. Chelsea got 48 points in 04/05.

But other than that, great record.
