Well, i have to admit i was a little pissed when i started the thread...having re-read my original it is probably a little harsh.

There is however, a thread of truth in it.

Some great posts on this topic and quite diverse opinions and suggestions.

You know what, you're right this forum is far better than others relating to LCFC, so for that reason i apologise for appearing to throw my toys out of the pram. That was the effect of alcohol, and i didn't mean it to seem like that.

Anyway i'm back posting with my tail firmly between my legs...

The huge difference is if I had personally attacked & abused you for your, deprecated thankfully, unnecessary use of ellipses when they imparted no greater sense to your post then that would be having a go at you and it would be wrong of me, or anybody else for that matter.
However, the fact that you did use ellipses unnecessarily when they added no greater sense to your post left you wide open for a pisstake. This was a role that I naturally stepped into and, if you cast your mind back, I did it in a completely inoffensive & convivial way bearing in mind that you were a relatively new poster at the time.

This is in no way an apology and, considering my level of intoxication, I have been remarkably gentle with you.

Get over it.
