96 goals in 192 Premier League appearances now.

4 to reach his century.

8 games scored in a row.

A ****ing phenomenon.
Yet Puel dropped him for Gray...

He’s making the extraordinary seem quite ordinary.

So, Vards had a similar drought in 15/16 at a similar time. Could be the amount of games he plays, maybe just a bad run of form which has coincided with the team's run of bad form. Now he's got an injury which hopefully is just a twinge in his arse muscle. Not scored for 8 games in all competitions, 6 in the Premier League.

I for one would love him to be top scorer over the season which could prove to be difficult this season with many top players around him in the charts. Though his stellar first half to the season has clearly kept him at the top despite his poor form. At the very least, he can beat his personal best - 24 goals scored in the PL in 15/16.

8 goals in 14 games is what's required to beat his best.

In the context of that it was against WHam * 2 and Newcastle, but 3 goals and 3 assists in those 3 games.

Perez and Iheanacho have certainly stepped up when Vardy has been out.

Wow I must really have Alzheimer’s because I don’t remember him scoring 23 goals
