Vardy is the best player for Leicester ever! Maybe not the most technical, or the best physically, but in all over value the best player we have ever had by far!

He plays football like working class players of old, something you don’t see anymore.

That's what I see in him. His football upbringing is so different from most modern Prem players. He's our greatest player IMO.

According to more than one Utd fan after the 5-3 game in 2014, he'd be back playing where he belongs for the likes of Macclesfield within a year or two.

I'm in South Africa on my honeymoon, and on Saturday morning my Nigerian Uber driver (a Liverpool fan) was very excited to hear I support Lie-Cess-Ter!

He said 'Ah Liecesster! I love Liecesster! Jamie Vardy, he's my man. He's so good, he is the most stubborn striker! And his wife is arguing with the Rooney wife it's so funny'

He went on to tell me that he thinks Liecesster will finish 2nd this season because we have great spirit and he loves Rodgers for his great football - and that the reason he supports Liverpool is because he liked Rodgers as their coach when he was there.

I love that I can be in Africa having conversations about our team and best players!

What keeps me awake at night is the knowledge that one day we won't have him. I can't see how we can replace him, he's unique in many ways and so vital to the way we play. We'll be ordinary again when he's gone.

Don’t panic, Slim will back from his loan by then and Iheanacho will be up to speed by 2023.

What a player!
I.ve been keeping a record of his games /goals. But I am not sure where I got my starting data.
I think it only applies to Premier League/ old Division one. but may include all competitive matches.
Maybe someone with better data sources could check my table. Either way its incredibly impressive.
Soon to celebrate 200 appearances and 100 goals. Get in.

Leicester City Top Goalscorers (1 Dec 2019)

Arthur Lochead 106 303 0.35
Jamie Vardy 93 190 0.48
M Stringfellow 81 295 0.27
J Walsh 80 175 0.48

Presumably this is goals in the top division, not all goals.

Here is some praise...

It is very possible that there will never be anyone better than he has been for us.

Just to add to Jamie Vardy s incredible stats.
My table was in deed just all time goalscorers in the top flight.
Based on Wikipedia data.
He is by far our most influencial scorer in the modern era.
94 top flight goals in 190 maches. Unbeleivable but great.

If Jamie carries on in this form he'll comfortably get his hundred premier league goals this season - it will be a fantastic achievement for him and our team
