Don't remember the date but my Mum and Dad had separated and to cut a long story short my sister and I ended up in a foster home in Hackney, my Dad used to take us out for the Day on a Saturday and onee Saturday he took us to Upton Park to watch West Ham beat Leicester 3-1 Lineker was playing for Leicester that day, it was the only game my sister ever went to, I loved it not for the football but for being with my Dad.
We have had season tickets for over a decade now and throughout our lives it's the one thing that has been constant.
Another memory is me and a school mate (think we were about 15/16) decided to go and watch Leeds play Leicester at Eland Road. We got on the train at Kings Cross in our Leicester shirts only to find it was full of London Leeds supporters, to be fair a group of them could see we were in trouble and looked after us even making sure we got to the ground ok. Stachan scored in the last minute and the Leeds fans invaded the pitch and coined the Leicester fans, it was a pitch battle getting back to the station and I had my 1st proper fight, my Leicester shirt got covered in blood.
