The last 12 games

Time to change the stuburn ****er

The owners failure to make the hard but correct call to sack Pearson many weeks ago has had a devastating cost.

Pearson himself must be totally shattered now and in no position to motivate the team.

We've reached the point where irrespective of the narrative of any individual game it always ends in disappointment.

No point in looking for any change at this point - the seasson just has to be played out to its grisly end.

The only consolation is that we have found out beyond doubt that this squad - and manager - would be hopelessly out of their depth in the Premier League. The summer break is incredibly short and the club has much to do starting with clearing the decks in few weeks time and a new start under new management.

Choking like an amateur in a Ron Jeremy deepthroat audition.

There is absolutely no obvious reason why we have provided such an awful return on the last 12 games. The only hope now is that this is the point where a run starts, and that run jerks us over the finish line - only problem is, I can't see it.

'tis too late fir change, or indeed any anger. That should have happened at the last international break

We now limp aimlessly to the end of the season, with nothing but misery before us

At least I no longer have to resort to the delivery of certain 'favours' to secure myself a Forest ticket

Utterly predictable, and indeed predicted by many.

All of this 'we must win our last xxx' is just becoming all the more farcical as the season draws to its conclusion.

Winning the last 4 after winning 1 in 12 is impossible IMHO.

If we managed it I would take pompous out for dinner.

This run is almost taking on Peter Taylor proportions a few points here and there make it look better but taking into account the quality of the opposition it really isn't.

I'm looking forward to this weeks new interview with a player stating how the fans can help or we need to win.

Useless bastards

It would give the new guy a chance to assess our current crop in live match situations rather then meaningless pre-season friendlies.......

Possibly. But I think it better to let the season grind out its course and then draw a line.

The owners have left it far far too late. Homer is right the last window of opportunity was the international break and Pearson should have been shown the door then. He is a monkey on the back of the club: clueless, hopeless and frankly to be pitied...as are we all for having to watch this slow road crash.

The only good thing that I can say for having kept Nigel Pearson in post to the end of the season is that; had the board replaced him at the international break, there would have been dissent amongst a faction of the fans. Surely, nobody will question a change now!

I wonder if history will say that the same could be said about the owners.

Based on form, that boat has already slid down the slipway.

They cannot win can they? If the owners had removed Pearson, a LOT of people on here would have moaned that Nigel Pearson had been badly treated, the owners were trigger happy and we're doomed. They don't act and they're still wrong!
