Are we winning yest?

The Magic Number after tonight is 88. :icon_bigg :icon_wink

The magic number is still 97

Achieve this number of points and we go up.

16 points to go! :038: :038: :038:

If it's 97 now after MKD's defeat, it could not have been 97 yesterday before their defeat.

People reading your ramblings might actually think that they have some worth. Why do you not desist with your wasting of people's time?

He's only wasting the time of those people daft enough to read them (plus his own of course) :icon_wink

Yes it could, it's still the same because Peterborough didn't play last night.
If MK Dons and Peterborough both win all their games, MK Dons will still finish top.

Ah - magic number to go up - not the magic number to be champions. I get so used to Joe_ talking bollocks that I expect it all the time.

I apologise to him for my error.

Apology accepted.

When you think about it (I know that's quite difficult for some of you) the magic number is something we should all look at as the true target of the season.

Everything else is insignificant and therefore this is a good thread!

:102: :icon_conf

It is the first integer after the projected score for the second highest finisher. The point being that in order to beat this target the team that is on target to finish second will have to play better than they have done all season and that is not likely. :icon_wink

But possible

Given the fact that a side's final position in the League is the sum of all their performances any side is always tending/moving towards it's final points average including sudden last minute wild up or down movements. :icon_wink

You could have just said yes.
