Milk first thing in the mug....it's the best way

Hazz the logistics of this technique are doomed from the off. The cooling effect of the milk is going to prevent the tea infusing with the water. Maybe you should review your process controls.

Almost the same as drummin, but just the one sugar (weaned myself from 2 to 1.5 to 1 in successive New Years!)

I'm a Civil Servant, so drink plenty of tea.......

Its also fraught with problems as the fat molicules in the milk will block the tea bags holes thus stopping the infusion also :)

No I disagree..it's work for me previously. There is another trick I use to make the tea infuse with the water.

The process normally goes tea-bag into mug and then milk into mug - this allows me to carefully judge the strength of the tea correctly. However, it's always problemtic when I am using a set of unrecognisable mugs or a new set. This is the factor which dictates where a good cup of rosy lee has been produced.

Then once the kettle has boiled, I carefully aim for the water to be poured into the tea bag thus bringout the optimum performance of the bag. The colour begins to show within the milk thus symbolise the existence of tea within the liquid. After a couple of mashes of the tea bag, all is fine.

No, No, No, No, No.

This is utterly flawed on two levels.

  • To mash the tea you must use boiling water, adding milk will lower the temperature of the water and prevent the tea from mashing correctly.
  • Secondly, as I have already pointed out previously, milk in tea is for girls and children. If you're going to drink tea with the men, drink it like a man.

I prefer a nice hot cup of tea to sex these days.......

TOP-TIP! get another tea spoon and squeeze all the goodness out of the teabag after its brewed

You're all wrong.

You have to put boiling water in the empty cup first to heat it up. Then, tip it away, place your teabag in and refill with freshly boiled hot water.

You cannot just pour hot water into a cold cup containing a teabag - it ain't right and it wont brew properly.

That sounds suspiciously like you're removing the teabag there ted. :018:
If you take the teabag out of the cup it'll just be piss weak. Squeeze the teabag against the side of the cup, yes, but don't take it out, let it mash.
