To be fair to Sousa he came in at a awkward time,most managers have the whole pre-season to make plans.

The players at his disposal would have been given a fair crack at the whip to impress him,so that also takes time to know who cannot cut the ice.

Leicester fans are also forgetting players like Waghorn,Brown,Vaughan,Solano,Kermorgant,Bruce and Spearing who were very much apart of Pearson's team towards the end of the season had gone.

With all that in mind he took over a small squad,a transfer budget unknown to him because of the take over,players getting injured also not helping.

I am just glad we do not play for a fortnight,it will give him a chance to strengthen and reflect on whats happened to the team so far.

It is obvious the players do not like Sousa or his methods and it would appear some are clearly conspiring to bring this situation to a head. I think Sosua proved last season that he can get results at this level and if given time and an opportunity to get his ideas across then we can be successful, however I do fear that already to many of the players, out of loyalty to Pearson, have already sealed his fate, with their actions and performances.

Yes, but there are consequences to handing total power to the players.

The idea (or hope) is that the next manager will sort out the mess, get the players motivated again, etc.. This may be preferable to seeing a good team being dismantled as happened for example under Taylor. But I admit there are dangers either way.
