apparently he's had a bust up with kelly and has since put on a load of weight and has stopped showing any interest in playing for us(ie he's not really injured)

could be pure speculation, so don't take it as gospel

...........he can't be arsed!

you're dead right! it's easy to forget that. saying that he's seems a different player.

IMO the whole team is suffering from poor form compared to how they finished last season.

but isn't how we finished last season a bit of a myth - didn't we win 3 out of the last 8 games or something and lost the final game at Southampton with barely a whimper?

but he does look like he is carrying a little excess baggage... I would hate to think he is being a child if he has had a bust up

I would play O'Grady and Hammond before Fryatt.

at the moment I would play MDV ahead of all three of them.. but then again i'm not the genius who decided that getting rid of one of our strikers when we haven't been able to buy a goal for three seasons was a good idea.

Spot On! Fryatt's symptoms are easy, young, unexperienced, out of form and any lack of proper service to him.

Fryatt's symptoms are hes fat, hes unfit, playes like hes never been on a football pitch before, hasn't done anything to get fitter since his shameful display against luton, has lost his passion.

I dont care about anything else...bottom line is he's playing shite and im angry at RK for not subbing him at half time and at least trying to prevent the loss.

If these rumours have any truth behind them whatsoever, I'll find the fat fecker and shit on his shoes. Fecking work for the club you cnut.

I seem to remember a Walsall fan coming on here warning us what a lazy bastard he is, that was at the time he was scoring so those comments were dismissed.

Now coming true.

If this is in any way true then why is RK picking him. If his fitness level is unsatisfactory then the coaching staff should be doing something about it, if he's carrying an injury then why pick him.

I can't believe that RK still starts with him. His performance this season have been very poor. It really must irritate the other strikers. They must think that only if MF is injuried they can get a game. Doesn't really send out the right message to them!

i fell out with my boss the other week. and as a result i've gone on the fatty fryupp diet of pies pies and pies. its doing the trick

My take on Fryatt is this - he needs to be managed differently.

Players react differently to being managed in certain ways. RK's style is arm around the shoulder, let's all be friends chaps etc. He works on details in training focusing on little technical parts of individuals games. Levein was the total opposite, a hard man character who had an indimidating presence in the dressing room and the training ground. Hence, why most of the players who were garbage under Levein improved under RK and vice versa.

Examples: Maybury, Stearman, Sheehan, Sylla, Wesolowski, Hughes - all need a bollocking on a regular basis and to be wound up to perform. They never get one from RK.

Williams, Kisnorbo, Johansson - don't deliver when scared. Need the arm around the shoulder.

Fryatt was fine when new and under pressure. As soon as the pressure was off, he's been shite. I'd threaten to skin him alive if he doesn't start delivering - then we'd see a different player.
