My take on Fryatt is this - he needs to be managed differently.
Players react differently to being managed in certain ways. RK's style is arm around the shoulder, let's all be friends chaps etc. He works on details in training focusing on little technical parts of individuals games. Levein was the total opposite, a hard man character who had an indimidating presence in the dressing room and the training ground. Hence, why most of the players who were garbage under Levein improved under RK and vice versa.
Examples: Maybury, Stearman, Sheehan, Sylla, Wesolowski, Hughes - all need a bollocking on a regular basis and to be wound up to perform. They never get one from RK.
Williams, Kisnorbo, Johansson - don't deliver when scared. Need the arm around the shoulder.
Fryatt was fine when new and under pressure. As soon as the pressure was off, he's been shite. I'd threaten to skin him alive if he doesn't start delivering - then we'd see a different player.
