After being Leicestery last year and getting relegated by relying on the results of others, my local team , Granada CF, charged straight back into Liga 1. In addition, the female team gained promotion to the women's top league, and the men's B team were promoted into the 3rd tier. This B team model is used instead of U23s, and the 3rd tier is where the A team were a few years ago when I started going to their matches. The rumour is that STHs will be able to watch all the games across these teams, so several opportunities to watch the various teams of Barcelona, RM and Atletico etc.

Saturday night in Cincinatti.

Home team v New England, top two in the Eastern Conference, ended up as a 2-2 draw in a very entertaining game. Good noisy atmosphere in the 25,000+ crowd. I had to bite my tongue several times though as I don't think the sort of things I used to shout at games in England would go down too well here.

Got chatting to the bloke on the left in the picture on the way out of the ground, turns out he's from Leicester, is a City fan and has lived in Cincy for 25 years. He told me there is fair Leicester following in the city and they meet up in a local bar when a game is being shown on TV. Nice to know that but it's a 3-4 hour drive for me.

Granada CF, with a 19,300-seater stadium, have stopped selling season tickets at 17,000. Match tickets will be in short supply, maybe it's time to do the much talked-about expansion, although a bit late for this season. The first match, away against Atlético, should be an opportunity to see Cags in action.

Watch out for his cock, could take your eye out.

I'll be worried at the home game, my seat is pitchside in the first row
You only need to be worried if you’re on Row Z, if Daka’s playing.

Pathetic…

Of course, he won't wear rainbow laces or armbands. He also won't criticise the treatment of women, opposition figures or state-condoned murder. That might hurt their sensitive feelings. Cultural "norms" like these are not acceptable in the modern world, especially if you want to trade with and get rich from it
