He's worth a LOT more than 40 Million.

He'll go eventually, I just hope it's to a club where he plays every week. Would hate to see him rot on Man City bench.

We must continue to be resolute. I was impressed by our continual refusal to even discuss a transfer until a valuation had been met, which of course it wasn't. Southampton are masters of this and we must follow suit. If Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United or Man City come in for him in January with bids of 50m plus, I think we will sell him. We shouldn't, but we will.

If 5 of the big 6 want him, I trust our owners to be resolute unless £50m is offered.

If Chelsea want him, he'll be gone in a flash for whatever they deem to be reasonable.

Our owners have a very close relationship with Chelsea.

Do you believe that this friendship is strong enough to give away millions of pounds and if so please provide evidence to substantiate this?

If rumours are to be believed, we got the Chinese club that Sven managed to bid for Kante to get more money out of Chelsea.

If true, that contradicts BN’s conspiracy theory.

Did anyone notice how much Chelsea were charged for Danny Drinkwater?

Bloody good mates we are.

In the time I have been watching Leicester his only rival for greatness has been Peter Shilton - at his peak surely the best goalkeeper in the world. However, goalkeepers do not usually excite.

I used to say that Keith Weller was the most exciting Leicester player I have seen Riyad is better than Keith Weller.

Some credit has to go to Steve Walsh Sr for spotting him.

More like tripped over him, as he had gone to watch a different player, not Mahrez.

I'm hoping he stays, and I see a possibility, but I do think he'll go. If he does, I'll be interested to see how he progresses, AND in who signs him.

For me, despite his undeniable talents, I'm not sure he's a complete enough player for a club like Man City, Barcelona or Real Madrid etc, i.e. his perhaps preferred destinations. If he went to such a club, i think he'd have to be prepared to warm benches, bide his time, improve both his game and consistency and take his chance. So I'm not sure who might be interested. There are obviously many clubs outside that select group, especially abroad, but I think they are arguably not that much different to ourselves. It may be worth Mahrez staying put until summer just to see who we bring in, how we finish the season and how Puel's era unfolds. Unless, of course, he just wants a change.

Football friends are a funny sort. Didn't Mandaric give old bollock chop's dog loads of money or something like that?
