We may need 5 wins.

I'm only interested in winning the league. Second will be a disappointment.

I agree, to be honest I'm disappointed that we probably won't get 100 pts and would be even more disappointed not to win the league.

We went down for the one time in our history and came back as champions is the story I want to read in OF&F in years to come.

100 pts is still possible. we pick up 6 and get our confidence back with Howard ramming home 4 in 2 games. Then it comes down to Dirty Leeds.

6 wins and we hit 100pts

Four wins will be enough to win the league as well.

Even if Posh win five and draw one we'd almost certainly do them on goal difference (bar some freakish results)

But Peterborough could win all 6. then we'd need to win 5.

the papers going on about a 12 point lead blown etc.etc..
typical press, play down achievment but play up a adversity.

we never on paper had a 12 point lead based on catch up games,we have however thrown away a fair few points on home draws,a perrenial problem with leicester since i can remember.

we need to concentrate now on our results not on others, maybe when the team go into training tomorrow they realise that if they dont start winning and trying new ideas then maybe they will get caught and overtaken, back in december and january they were hungry, well
nows the time to get out of the comfort zone and start performing again if only for their own pride.

i hope these loaners dont think,oh well if we (city) dont get promoted i can go back to liverpool or arsenal or wherever and still be o.k.

if np's reading this message board,or the team, , then come on pull yourselves together and start believing again.

foxes never quit.

It is only Millwall who count in terms of how it may effect us. They have won a lot of games this season with very late goals. I cannot remember them dropping too many points in the final few minutes though so maybe their luck will change in the run in.

We win on saturday and the picture will change again.

This is what I think:

Leicester

Carlisle (H) 2-0
Hereford (A) 0-2
Leeds (H) 0-1
Southend (A) 1-1
S****horpe (H) 0-1
Crewe (A) 0-0

Peterborough

Oldham (A) 1-1
Cheltenham (H) 3-0
Millwall (A) 2-2
Stockport (H) 2-0
Colchester (A) 0-1
Swindon (H) 3-0

Millwall

Colchester (H) 2-0
Walsall (H) 2-0
Yeovil (A) 0-1
Peterborough (H) 2-2
Bristol Rovers (A) 0-1
Leyton Orient (H) 3-0
Carlisle (A) 0-1

...and unfortunately this leaves the top three like this:

Code:
             Played GD Points
Peterborugh 46 32 92
Millwall 46 21 92
Leicester 46 39 90

The interesting thing here is that I think they are very realistic predictions. :icon_eek:

I can't take your predictions seriously when you think we will lose 2-0 to Hereford. :102:

Hereford (A) 0-2

Hereford are a god awful team on the verge of almost certain relegation and you think we'll lose to them? We've only been beaten 4 times this season!

The only team I can see beating us is Leeds, they're on good form at the moment, but other than that there's no reason we shouldn't win all of our remaining games. I think people are starting to worry too much.
